I had good food for breakfast for vegetarians. The location was comfy, for example, Heritage House Museum was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Spotless hotel, extremely helpful and really helpful staff on paying one staff member. Exceptionally nice location with free parking on-site. Also, easy to get to Abbeyleix Bog Walk...

The restaurant here was very nice with a varied and quality menu, we both ordered savoury dishes. There was free Wi-Fi in the rooms and the service in general was very good.

The location is ideal for exploring 'central' Ireland. The Hotel Staff are excellent and the receptionists were extremely helpful. Our room was large and clean. Breakfasts were yummy. The road outside was busy....however, the new Motorway link is now open and the passing traffic will have disappeared. We liked our firm mattress... much better than the saggy mattresses in some hotels! Not once did we hear anyone in other rooms ...and we didn't even know there was a tv in the public rooms, so obviously not a problem.

I thoroughly enjoyed the good value and the relaxing atmosphere of the property. the attentive staff, especially the manager, made my stay even better. - the wide array of amazing meals was a highlight. - the hotel's central location next to wildlife and natural beauty, as well as its proximity to Dublin and the South West, made it very convenient. - the hotel is situated in a very pleasant area with easy access to taxis.

I stayed here for just one night and had dinner at the outdoor restaurant. the menu was diverse and the food was top-notch. the hotel is situated in a central location but in a peaceful area, perfect for a good night's sleep. 🌿
